Firewire delivers on the new Arbor Koa and Wasteland Dominators.
Firewire and Arbor are proud to announce that their collaborative surfboard offerings have now arrived in stores. The designs combine Firewire’s use of epoxy resins and EPS foam materials, which are less harmful to the environment, and Arbor’s signature, sustainably sourced, structural wood power-ply technology.
ABOUT FIREWIRE: Firewire was founded in early 2006 and while a relative new comer to the surfboard industry, the company has made its mark through the use of innovative materials and the introduction of flex to increase performance. Firewire believes that refinements to the shape of today’s modern surfboard can only produce incremental performance benefits, and that exponential improvements in performance can only be achieved through new materials and construction methods which, in turn, will open up new design opportunities. Ridden exclusively by Taj Burrow, a top five finisher on the ASP Word Tour for the past four years and the recent winner of the 2009 Pipeline Masters, Firewire surfboard’s high performance has been proven under the most demanding conditions.

Arbor Santa Barbara Party!
Arbor is throwing another party and concert at their new showroom in Santa Barbara, California on Friday, July 30th from 7-10 p.m. Surf/grunge band, Party Theft will be playing at the event. Party Theft was just signed to Volcom Records and the band consists of three pro-junior surfers and one crazy front man consisting of Diego “The Big Cat” Simila on vocals and guitar, Andrew Doheny on lead guitar, Ford Archbold on bass, and Spencer Regan on drums. DJ Durty Power will also be on hand spinning tunes throughout the event as partygoers enjoy the free beer courtesy of Telegraph Brewing Company and energy drinks courtesy of Rockstar. Arbor Venice Summer Concert
The Arbor Collective is throwing a summer concert and party at their Venice, California headquarters Friday, July 23rd to commemorate the launch of their new music download hangtag. This special, free music download card will be found on their Fall/Winter apparel line which will hit stores and be available online in late August.
