Arbor team riders, Nick Visconti and Sammy Spiteri will be at the event to ride with competitors and judge the event. “This is our seventh rollout of the FACE/OFF event that seems to be gaining momentum. This year we are very happy to announce a series of FACE/OFF events across the country with $1000 cash on the line at each competition,” says Arbor’s marketing advisor, Brad Farmer.
This year, Arbor has expanded the FACE/OFF to a series that includes the following dates and locations:

FACE/OFF Boreal, California: Saturday, April 6, 2013 – Final Stop
The FACE/OFF will include a 60 minute jam qualifier round for which up to 100 competitors of any age, sex and ability may enter. There will be awards and huge prize packs for the top three females, males ages 16 and under and males 17 and over. Fifteen of the top open class riders will be selected to advance to a final round in which the riders will FACE/OFF in games of SNO until the last man is standing. The top three will score prize packs with third place snagging $100, second grabbing $300 and first will take away $600. “The format for this event has wildly exceeded our expectations and created a very exciting competition. Once it gets down to the final 16 riders, the event becomes intense as competitors battle it out for the victory. In the end, there is no question about who won the event.”

In this episode 3 of Getting Lost With Ian Sams, the crew heads to Japan with the Flux Bindings team and well, they can’t help but get lost in the streets, the powder and of every weird store, bar and restaurant along the way. Erik Leon once again joins Ian Sams making for a nice mix of debauchery and style between the two riders. This episode brings you parks and powder and next up from Japan in episode 4, we’ll see what happened in the streets.

Winning is easy, simply LIKE the story and make a COMMENT telling Arbor why you should be the new owner of a Mindstate Walnut! Will pick the person with the most creative comment and send them a brand new Mindstate Walnut skateboard.
The Mindstate mixes the classic styling of a pintail with the performance of a drop-through and a fiberglass-reinforced flex. Count on a smooth, responsive ride and an easy push and turn.
