Arbor Eco Update: Nano Bamboo

Nano Bamboo is created from bamboo that is heated at high temperatures into charcoal and then infused into the fabric. The use of bamboo charcoal goes as far back as the 1400’s during the Chinese Ming Dynasty. Fabrics infused with nano bamboo particles are quick drying and naturally resistant to mold and bacterial growth, which can cause odor and skin irritation. Arbor uses this fabrication in our boardshorts and Windward Jacket. Bamboo is today’s most renewable, sustainably grown raw material.

Arbor Skateboards: 48 hours in Phoenix

Team riders, Duke Degen and Jimmy Riha travel to Arizona to meet up with the SkatePHX crew. Check out this video that sums up their first 48 hours packed into just two really excellent minutes. It’s a Goofy vs. Regular as Duke rides regular and Jimmy rides goofy. The skateboarding gets wild in the hot desert sun.

Arbor Eco Update: Made in USA

Arbor is currently producing 75% of its environmentally responsible apparel right here in the USA. We are proud to make our T-shirts, Hats and a portion of our knits in Los Angeles, California. In addition to using eco friendly materials by producing our apparel in the United States we help reduce the environmental impact of shipping product from overseas and by manufacturing locally, in LA near our headquarters in Venice, we further reduce the emissions and oil consumption created by trucking product from factories far away.
