Yoskay Yamamoto is a self-trained illustrator born and raised in Toba, Japan who moved to the United States at the age of 15. Yamamoto’s distinct style is based on a combination of two different cultural backgrounds including nostalgically blending pop-iconic characters from his new western home with traditional and mythical Japanese elements from his Asian heritage.
