A few of the Whiskey Project skaters jumped in the van and headed up to Northern California for a few days of camping, skating, and hanging with the crew.
The roots of Arbor run deep through the islands of Hawaii. Whether it be from our Returning Roots partnership on the Big Island or having local Oahu ripper, Kyle Smith, fly the Arbor flag on a daily basis. This past winter Kyle invited the Whiskey Project team over to his homeland for an adventure they’ll never forget. From skating the legendary Wallows Ditch, to witnessing 45-foot waves at the Eddie Aikau surf contest, to exploring epic nature trails; the week in Oahu was packed with fun.
Not many people are going to turn down an invite to Hawaii, TransWorld Skate photographer Blair Alley is no different. The Whiskey Project was psyched have Blair and Transworld onboard for their epic island skate trip to Oahu. Whiskey Project skater Kyle Smith acted as tour guide and showed the team all that his homeland has to offer. From the legendary skate spots to the delicious meals and amazing scenery, the crew got a true flavor for the Hawaiian lifestyle and Transworld was there to capture it all.
Woodward West is closed for the season and you get invited to come skate it all to yourself. What would you do? We’ll tell you what the Whiskey Team did – bum rushed the place and skated the hell out of it.
We’re stoked to be announcing that Amelia Brodka will be joining the Whiskey Project. Amelia is the first female skater to be added to the Whiskey roster. Her unbelievable raw talent and her active involvement in the skate community has made her the perfect addition to our family of riders. Expect to see more from
