The Backlash 37 is a downhill design with a true kicktail dedicated to smaller riders. It features rocker that runs between the trucks, a snub nose design, and flush routed truck mounts to maintain turning angle while providing superior slide control. No limits – bomb, flip, slide – whatever.
We recently brought five Arbor Downhill team riders to Southern California to showcase the 2015 Arbor Downhill Collection. The new collection offers a variety of shapes for the different styles and disciplines of Downhill featured in the film.
Arbor Skateboards is proud to announce our latest video with team rider Jasper Ohlson riding our newest downhill board the Backlash 37!

About 8 or 9….I don’t know if my toddler years count ’cause I would just go to the skatepark with my dad and roll around on my butt
WHO ELSE HELPS YOU OUT:
Scott Lembach from Muirskate, he has pushed me to new limits, and helped me make it to some sick events. It’s always a pleasure skating with him. Brandon at Caliber, and pretty much the whole Caliber and Blood Orange family has also helped me grow as a skater and get my name out there. Huge thanks to them as well. Mike Girard at G-Form stokes me out with the best pads out there, thanks Mike!! Also, Dave Price at Predator. Their helmets keep my brain safe and the sun out of my eyes, Thanks Guys!
WHAT’S IN YOUR QUIVER:
PREFERRED STYLE OF SKATEBOARDING:
Techy street stuff, stand up slides, grinds, and going fast
WHAT’S YOUR LOCAL ZONE:
Born and raised in Portland, Oregon and started skated there. After 9 years, I moved to San Diego and now I skate local hills like Blacks, and hit the skatepark or mountain roads as much as possible.
Procrastinating… especially with school work
BIGGEST PET PEEVE:
Cut my head pretty badly with a surf fin and got staples…that sucked
BEST PART OF SKATING:
Meeting cool new people and skating with a ton of friends
When someone blows your local hill because they are disrespectful
Search for Animal Chin.
ONE THING EVERY SKATER SHOULD KNOW:
DON’T EAT TACO BELL BEFORE SKATING
