Curtis grew up in the mountains that surround Lake Tahoe, California so it shouldn’t come across as a surprise that he knows the area better than most. Even on an off snow year for the region, like the one Tahoe experienced last season, Curtis knows where to find the goods.
The froth prince hath returned for yet another attack on the kingdom of powder. With his trusty Arbor snowboard as a weapon, Curtis Woodman slashes and burns the forests of Washington and Tahoe in a full blown whiteroom frenzy.
Last season, Lake Tahoe kicked off the winter with mediocre snowfall which meant insufficient time in the white room for our boy, Curtis Woodman.
I hope all you froth puppies out there are ready to travel to Shacktown, USA, because you just got stuck in the impact zone of Curtis Woodman’s second season of “Surf The Earth”.
The Arbor team visited this Bighorned, Tetoned state during the winter of 2014, saw some of these giant, beautiful Buffalo, did some backcountry boarding, and bagged some banger backside bombholes. Don’t believe me? Just watch the video.
“Curtis Woodman’s pursuit of the purest of snowboarding joys, found deep in plentiful powder and laid out turns, has brought him to a variety of high peaks and each time Curtis drops in, he has combined agile pokes and tweaks with sweeping arcs, hefty drops, and narrow passages.
Curtis Woodman is an individual to the fullest extent. It’s difficult to define Curtis as both his snowboarding and personality fall outside of any societal preconceptions or stereotypes. He picks his own line down the mountain and hides in the white room most of the winter. We’ve been lucky enough to get a glimpse into the mind of Curtis through his Surf The Earth video series this past winter. And now, without further ado, Curtis presents the culmination of all his hard work from last season in his Surf The Earth – Full Part.
Curtis Woodman’s Surf the Earth Episode 3 is filled with Tahoe, Jackson Hole and Washington big mountain pillows and powder in this most excellent season ender. It’s complete with a host of Curtis’s big mountain shredding friends including Erik Leon and Joe Bosler. Surf it!
