WEBSITE: yoskay.com

Yoskay Yamamoto is a self-trained illustrator born and raised in Toba, Japan who moved to the United States at the age of 15. Sylvia Ji

ART COLLABORATION: Cadence, Oso, Bamboo Bug

WEBSITE: sylviaji.com

Sylvia Ji was born in 1982, and raised in San Francisco, California, where she received her BFA at the Academy of Art University. After graduation, she relocated to Los Angeles where she currently resides. Ji’s work encapsulates an alluring beauty that is cutting-edge and a nod to time-honored technique. Her paintings are symbolic reflections of herself, portraits of people she knows or nameless faces set in a landscape of fleeting and decaying beauty. Sylvia Ji released the piece that graces the top of the women’s Cadence in her 2008 collection titled Por Vida.

Brian Morris

ART COLLABORATION: Element

WEBSITE: www.ooo000ooo.com

Brian Morris is an artist from the South side of Chicago, Illinois who likes to break out of the studio and put his skills to work on a canvas of skin in the tattoo parlor and on classic Cadillacs in his garage. I eat red meat, prefer whiskey over beer, my favorite color is black and I was born in 1976, says Morris. I work in digital advertising, I’m married, I have a 1962 Cadillac in my garage and I don’t believe in god, I believe in people. I’m a heavy metal poser, I like country music, Sharpies, and I have a beard and tattoos and long hair. I’m deeply in love, early to bed, early to rise, and a saver not a spender. I think old is new, new will be old and that you can’t take it with you. I’m a shit-talker who is trying to get back to the basics. His unique urban-tattoo style graphics brings a powerful look to Arbor’s legendary ride-it-all powerful performance snowboard known only as the Element.
