Gallery: Arbor Northwest Style

Arbor’s presence in the park may be building but our roots is in the mountains…in the big mountains and the backcountry. We have a solid presence in the Northwest including national team riders Byron Bagwell and Ryan Linnert along with regional team riders, Robbie Hutton and Shawn Freyer. They get out and ride for the powder of the Northwest and photographer, Justin Kious rides it and captures it on film. “Justin’s riding is as good as his eye for snow shots,” says Bagwell. “This makes it possible to get places others photogs will back away from.” Get ready for the big storms of winter…they’re just days away. Check out the gallery of these big mountain shreds.

It’s been a heavy snow year in the Southern Hemisphere and several of Arbor’s riders have been down there taking advantage of it. Arbor national team rider, Byron Bagwell has been down in Chilé handling some big mountain powder shredding for a couple of weeks. Their crew is holding up at Nevados de Chillian Mountain Resort. Check out some of the images of the trip from photographer and Arbor regional team rider, Justin Kious.

Bagwell Just Get’s It…

Does anyone on the Arbor snowboard team get more pow days than Byron Bagwell? Answer…not by a long shot. Seen here, Byron handles another epic day at Mt. Baker and you get a look into just how it feels to slash that powder in another Vitamin P video that was shot at Mt. Shasta. Enjoy.

Arbor Drops Through

The Arbor Collective delivers its first drop-through skateboards, The Axis Koa and Bamboo.

About Artist Hannah Stouffer: The contrary notions of darkness and light and the ever-present existence of the two drives Los Angeles based illustrator, Hannah Stouffer, to explore the greatest struggle that we endure, our own imminent contrasts. Facing the inevitable oppositions between love, lust and gore, decadence, wrath and fate, Stouffer’s work is an opulent, elegant and beautifully intricate mixture of decoration, nostalgic animalia and emotion. Her densely packed compositions consciously recall classical and current attractions, creating cohesively opposing arrays of imagery and embellishment. She focuses on the contrasts that exist and occur within each destined plan, and merges them together with a high regard for balance and rich, repetitive adornment.
