A lynchpin on the Arbor Snowboard’s pro team, Frank April is known for hitting large street spots and having an even larger personality. Frank served as a team captain of sorts during the filming of Cosa Nostra, working just as hard to get shots for the rest of the team as he did for himself.

To celebrate another successful winter and 20 years of Arbor, we arranged for a team surf trip to a non-disclosed location to surf (and get pummeled by) uncrowded waves, kick back some cold ones, and reminisce over stories from the winter months.
We teamed up with Quebec powerhouse Frank April to offer a fresh take on our best selling Westmark Camber snowboard. This board is a road map to freestyle progression with graphics influenced by the urban missions that define Frank’s career. For the 2015/2016 winter, SNOWBOARDER has brought together the most inspiring list of past, present and future icons to appear on a single snowboard film marquee in recent memory.
After winning Video of The Year in 2013, Frank April and the Déjà Vu crew battened down the hatches and embarked on a two year video project entitled Encore, which they released to the masses earlier this fall. Encore has been acclaimed as the one of, if not the most progressive street riding video of the past decade and Arbor Snowboard team rider Frank April has one of the most hammer sections of the video.
On Saturday, October 3rd, we welcomed the Deja Vu film crew to our headquarters in Venice, CA for the last stop on their West Coast Premiere Tour. The Dudes’ Brewing Company provided copious amounts of beer to fuel the stoke leading up to the premiere and the debauchery that ensued afterwards.
We can’t think of anyone else who is equally entertaining to watch on or off their snowboard. Every year, Frank delivers the most progressive video parts filled with unparalleled trick selection, flawless style, and next level antics.

Frank has arrest warrants out in three provinces for a killing spree that started in the early 2000’s and continues to this day. Until the Déjà Vu videos brought Frank’s rail slaying prowess to national attention, he flew mostly under the radar, documenting his urban assault in Quebec’s local Brother’s Factory films. After winning an X-Games gold medal in 2013, Frank went into hiding, filming a slew of unreleased footage during the 2013-14 season. Frank plans on turning himself in in the Fall of 2016 when he releases incriminating footage of his world-wide rail terrorizing massacre in Déjà Vu 2. We’re happy to welcome this convict to the team and will do whatever is possible to keep him on the streets, keeping the rail population in check.
